Thanks for the nice puzzle and greeting from the Netherlands. Analysis with some math and Python made things rather smooth. It is also interesting to try to see if the most optimal sequence is given and try to implement different rule sets and see the impact. The idea of the puzzle is quite nice! 

You might expect to get some more international audience this year for it is mentioned by YT-channel Cracking The Cryptic in the video Schrödinger's "Rat": Sudoku Perfection (And Comedy!).

I noticed that the English translation is outdated compared to the German: Zum Glück kann ich die Nachbarn recht gut verstehen.
